As a student I worked as a freelance system administrator for a Windows NT and 2000 network with some small programming tasks. I got into Perl programming as well as Linux for rapid prototyping for an IT consulting company. After school I moved on to the technical university to study IT and engineering with a focus on information and media technologies.
The topic that prevailed during my time in the university was IT security even if it was not possible to focus in this area. I consider it to be an advantage to study in a more general area and not only focus on security.
Specialties: - internet technology (TCP/IP, HTTP(S), ASP.NET - NOT HTML "programming")
- operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- general security concepts
- technical risk analysis
- source code audits
- desktop and embedded virtualization technology
