I'm an impatient traveller in space and interests, an analytical and data-driven enthousiast, a relentless learner, a critical questioner and curious observer, an avid reader and occasional writer, a German obsessed with processes, details and efficiency, an Italian passionate about people, cooking and la dolce vita, a creative problem-solver and a diligent classic guitar student.

Currently I am centering all my energy and effort on Camaloon : a growing global brand for design & art on everyday products. Absorbed with this project since the beginning of 2012, I have gotten to know and experienced lean startups and entrepreneurship in Barcelona, online marketing throughout different European markets and growth and guidance of a heterogenous, international team.

Bettina Groß's Experience

  • Startup Chile Generation 9 at Camaloon
    March 2014 - Present
    Start-Up Chile is a program of the Chilean Government to attract entrepreneurs to start their businesses in Chile with the aim to convert Chile into the innovation and entrepreneurship hub of Latin America.

    Camaloon and I were selected to participate in the 2014 intake and invited to spend six months in Santiago in order to create Camaloon Chile / Latin America. Startup Chile offers us 40.000 $ in equity-free seed capital, an interesting mentorship programs and access to an ecosystem of thousands of international entrepreneurs and their startups.

    The program will permit me to enter the Latin American market, to set-up the Operations to produce and distribute to all Americas, to expand the net of artists and to team up with other companies.

Bettina Groß's Education

  • B.A. European Business Programm EBP at Fachhochschule Münster
    September 2007 - September 2011
    With the Bachelor in European Business I did a double Diploma at the Fachhochschule Münster in Germany and the Ecole de Management de Normandie in the North of France, where I spent two semesters.

    I combined theoretical Economics and statistics with a more business oriented study involving classes in Corporate Finance and Marketing on international markets.

    With a particular interest for the growth of an organization and the online sector, I worked as an Intern and later as Freelance in several content positions and researched the topic further for my Bachelor Thesis on: "Strategies for growth on the Internet - Factors of success for online Start-Ups" which I finished with a grade of 1,3 in February 2011.
